Melpomeni-Panagiota Dimopoulou graduated in "Computer Engineering and Informatics" from the University of Patras, Greece. Throughout her studies she gained programming experience as well as computer engineering and architecture knowledge. The elective courses she undertook included "Digital Signal Processing and Applications", "Image Processing and Analysis", "Computer Vision and Graphics", "Probabilistic Techniques"," Stochastic Signals and Telecommunications", and "Parallel Algorithms".
Elena Firippi possesses a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Degree in Mathematics from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She is knowledgable in Computer Graphics, Graph Theory, Statistics, Linear Algebra and applications. She has a teaching experience in Maths for children with learning difficulties.
Amina Ghrissi graduated in mathematical modeling and scientific computing from the National Engineering School of Tunis (ENIT). Amina's passion for machine learning and bioinformatics helped her accomplish academic projects on medical image processing and epidemiological modeling. As an active student, she held the organization of 'Numerical Modeling' days and participated in startup challenges. She aims to become a research engineer in bioinformatics and launch a startup in the field.
Evgenia Kartsaki is a SW engineer in the Computational BioMedicine Laboratory, at the Institute of Computer Science of the Foundation for Research and Technology Hellas (ICS/FORTH). She graduated from the Computer Science Department at the University of Crete. During her undergraduate studies, she studied at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia through the Erasmus program. Her reserch activities focus on post-genomics Bioinformatics research and especially on Pharmacogenomics Informatics.
