Christina Kozia completed an Engineering diploma (Computer Engineering and Informatics) at the University of Patras (Greece) where she gained knowledge on algorithms and data structures, algorithms on trees and graphs, and pattern recognition. After a diploma thesis on algorithms for the analysis of biomedical data with processing Platforms for big data, she entered the CBB master to understand the underlying principles of gene networks modeling, biomedical signal and image analysis.

Abib Alimi originates from Senegal.
He completed a two-year University Degree in Technology
(D.U.T) in Computer Science at Ecole Supérieure Polytechnique, Cheikh Anta Diop
University of Dakar. He then started an engineering degree at the same institution, and came to attend Ecole Centrale de Lyon (a French multidisciplinary engineering school) after the first year and earned a dual Engineering degree in Computer Science from both institutions. He entered the master CBB to pursue his academic studiesm, attracted by the interdisciplinary program in Computer Science, Mathematics and
Statistics to address biological and medical problems.
