Sophia Antipolis is located about 25 Km from Nice and about 7 Km from Antibes Juan-Les-Pins.

TRANSPORTATION from the airport

Each participant to the Conference should arrange his own transportation upon arrival at Nice Airport.


BUS

There is a bus line starting from the airport (either Terminal 1 or terminal 2) called "Sophia express" (number 230) that runs every weekdays from 9:00 am to 20:30 pm - Rate is 1,30 Euros - See the timetable. Bus stop name to reach INRIA is : "INRIA".


TAXI

Rate is about 50€ from the airport to Sophia-Antipolis.

TRANSPORTATION by Train

The advised railway station to reach INRIA Sophia-Antipolis is Antibes SNCF railway station.

From Antibes railway station, take a bus: "Envibus", number 11 or number 1 (duration: about 25mn):

  • Run of Envibus number 11
    • Departure: The Antibes "SNCF" footbridge  (above and behind the Antibes SNCF railway station).
    • Arrival: get out the bus at the bus stop named "INRIA".
  • Run of Envibus number 1
    • Departure: The Antibes "SNCF" footbridge  (above and behind the Antibes SNCF railway station).
    • Arrival: get out the bus at the bus stop named "IUT" (then take some steps to reach INRIA).

Special TRANSPORTATION

The Conference will organize a bus as follows :


Monday, Octobre 8:

  • In the late afternoon, after the last session, to drive the participants to Juan-les-Pins where a panel of hotels are offered (see below).
  • In the early evening, the same bus will pick up the participants in front of the Palais des Congres (Conference Center) of Juan-Les-Pins which is our meeting point to go to Tourettes-sur-Loup, old medieval village in the background of Nice where a diner is organized.
    Meeting point : in front of the Palais des Congres (Conference Center) of Juan-Les-Pins, Sydney Bechet square. Bus : Flash Azur (white bus).

Tuesday, Octobre 9:

  • Morning, to join the sessions, a bus will go to the INRIA research center from Juan-les-pins.
    Meeting point : in front of the Palais des Congres (Conference Center) of Juan-Les-Pins, Sydney Bechet square. Bus : Flash Azur (white bus).
  • End afternoon, after the last session, a bus will drive the participants to the Airport.
