Lesion segmentation is a mandatory step in Multiple Sclerosis (MS) patients diagnosis. However a precise manual segmentation is a fastiduous task and is subject to inter and intra expert variabilities. LSE has been developed, tested and validated on brain conventional MRI of MS patients but it may also be used to segment lesions on MRI of elderly or epileptic or diabetic subjects or of patients with cardiovascular risk factors.
