plus Abstract :

My research activity focuses on modeling and segmentation of textured images by means of Markov processes, with application to the special case of remote sensing data. Both the modeling itself and the optimization problems involved by the related processings are the main objectives of my work.
In particular, the main efforts are aimed at finding tree-structured models which help to improve the description capability, while keeping a reduced computational complexity induced by the superimposed model.
