Statement

ComSoc plays a key role in the telecommunications community by bringing
people together to exchange knowledge, and we can create new ways to
further develop this capability. ComSoc can be really client-focused, by
directing our action plans according to the main expectations of the
various market segments. Presence at all client levels in a two-way
relationship can be enhanced using new technologies, making ComSoc a
worldwide leader in client service through easier, faster and ubiquitous
access to information. Other important steps towards ComSoc globalization
are Sister Society agreements (I led the accomplishment of ComSoc's second
signed agreement) and regional conferences (I contributed to institute
ComSoc's first regional conference).
