The paper "Pay Few, Influcence Most: Online Myopic Network Covering" (with K. Avratchenkov, P. Basu, B. Ribeiro and D. Towsley) got the Best Paper Award at the IEEE Infocom workshop on Network Science for Communication Networks (NetSciCom).
I started working on smart grids last year, here there are the first papers: "Modeling energy demand aggregators for residential consumers" (with G. Di Bella, L. Giarré, A. Jean-Marie, M. Ippolito and I. Tinnirello) appeared at IEEE CDC'13, "Unidirectional Probabilistic Direct Control for Deferrable Loads" (with G. Di Bella, L. Giarré and I. Tinnirello) is going to appear at IEEE Infocom Workshop on Communications and Control for Smart Energy Systems (CCSES).
Two papers on complex networks just got accepted to IEEE Infocom workshop on Network Science for Communication Networks (NetSciCom): "Pay Few, Influcence Most: Online Myopic Network Covering" (with K. Avratchenkov, P. Basu, B. Ribeiro and S. Towsley) and "How to Network in Online Social Networks (with M. Gabielkov, A. Legout and X. Ye).
I am organizing the Winter School on Complex Networks 2014 on the SophiaTech campus on January 27-31 2014. PhD students from other institutions are welcome to attend (just send me an email).
The paper On Optimal Packet Routing in Deterministic DTNs got a best paper award at IEEE VTC2013-Spring. This is a joint work with Xiaolan Zhang, Jim Kurose, Don Towsley and Haixiang Wang.
I am Publicity co-chair of IEEE INFOCOM 2014 and also a TPC member.
The paper Analysis of TTL-based Cache Networks got the best student paper award at ValueTools 2012, 6th International Conference on Performance Evaluation Methodologies and Tools. This is a joint work with Nicaise Choungmo Fofack (the PhD student), Philippe Nain and Don Towsley.
