May 2022: New paper on personalized federated learning accepted at ICML 2022: Personalized Federated Learning through Memorization. Joint work with my PhD student Othmane Marfoq and Laetitia Kameni and Richard Vidal from Accenture Labs.

May 2021: I got awarded a chair from 3IA Côte d'Azur (one of the French Interdisciplinary Institutes on Artificial Intelligence) to work on Pervasive Sustainable Learning Systems (PERUSALS).
I am looking for a postdoc to work on Memory-augmented Models for Low-Latency Machine Learning Serving in the framework of the Inria's exploratory research action MAMMALS. The postdoc will work with a PhD student (already hired) and other researchers with whom I collaborate on this topic: Emilio Leonardi and Michele Garetto (Polytechnic and Univ. of Turin, respectively), Damiano Carra (Univ. of Verona), and Stratis Ioannidis (Northeastern Univ.). The paper "Pay Few, Influcence Most: Online Myopic Network Covering" (with K. Avratchenkov, P. Basu, B. Ribeiro and D. Towsley) got the Best Paper Award at the IEEE Infocom workshop on Network Science for Communication Networks (NetSciCom).
I started working on smart grids last year, here there are the first papers: "Modeling energy demand aggregators for residential consumers" (with G. Di Bella, L. Giarré, A. Jean-Marie, M. Ippolito and I. Tinnirello) appeared at IEEE CDC'13, "Unidirectional Probabilistic Direct Control for Deferrable Loads" (with G. Di Bella, L. Giarré and I. Tinnirello) is going to appear at IEEE Infocom Workshop on Communications and Control for Smart Energy Systems (CCSES).
Two papers on complex networks just got accepted to IEEE Infocom workshop on Network Science for Communication Networks (NetSciCom): "Pay Few, Influcence Most: Online Myopic Network Covering" (with K. Avratchenkov, P. Basu, B. Ribeiro and S. Towsley) and "How to Network in Online Social Networks (with M. Gabielkov, A. Legout and X. Ye).

The paper On Optimal Packet Routing in Deterministic DTNs got a best paper award at IEEE VTC2013-Spring. This is a joint work with Xiaolan Zhang, Jim Kurose, Don Towsley and Haixiang Wang.
