I am a researcher at Inria, where I lead AROMATH project. My field of research is at the croassroad of computer algebra, effective algebraic geometry, geometric modeling. It concerns the representation of geometry by algebraic models and algebraic computation for understanding the geometry.

Topics of interest

alt text Solution of polynomial equations: border basis, subdivision methods, bezoutian, resultants.
alt text Topology of algebraic curves and surfaces, singularities, arrangements.
alt text Tensor decomposition, moments, optimisation.
alt text Isogeometric analysis, spline spaces, interaction between geometric modeling and numerical computation
