Séminaires croisés

The "séminaires croisés" aim at providing an opportunity for scientific exchange between the INRIA Sophia research teams. The speakers are typically Ph.D students. The half-day seminars are usually organised around a theme that interests several teams.
For Ph.D students it is an opportunity to present their research and to benefit from interacting with other teams.
For all of us it is an occasion to keep informed and to interact constructively with the other teams on the site.

You want to become organizer:

By taking the initiative in organizing a Séminaire Croisé, you get to choose its theme. You can then find likely participants and research teams by consulting the list of doctoral students and their thesis subjects on the Séminaire Croisé web site. The web site also contains a checklist to help you plan the seminar. Once you have decided to organize a seminar let us know straight away (scroises@sophia.inria.fr); we will help you with the logistics and produce a poster advertising the event.

You want to participate:

Please make sure your PhD student form is up to date (http://www-sop.inria.fr/interne/formation). That way, seminar organizers can identify you as possible participant in their seminar.

Reports:

The Séminaires Croisés are a good occasion to speak in public about one's research. The contents of the talks should take into account the scientific diversity of the audience.
The speakers should take time to present the research theme, on a general level, before situating their own work and describing its contributions and research prospects.
