The same problem exists with other types of Sun monitors. Even
worse: if you manage to get Centaur to start, resizing one of its
windows makes the Xsun server crash with a core dumped.
It is a bug of this version of the Openwindow X server.
The best solution is to apply the official Sun patch numbered
103210 (Jul/17/96). You may retrieve it from the following URL (for
south Europe):
http://sunsolve.sun.fr/
An alternative is to use the X11R6 X server, but in this case, you
will:
- lack the display postscript extension of the X server
- use not optimaly TCX monitors
