3. Starting the Supervisor

The Supervisor is the central part of odin.

3.1 Supervisor Configuration File

The supervisor file configuration file is : supervisor.cfg

In this file you can find the following values:

speedFactor : Do not change it and let it to 1 unless you know what you are doing.
sleepTimeMs : This is the control loop cycle time in miliseconds
maxWatchTime : This is the period in seconds after which you get an Error message if not data has been received from a Sensor during this time period
xmlExport : This value should 1 or 0 depending on if you respectivly do or do not want XML export files to be generated.

Once your supervisor.cfg file is ready, you can start the supervisor

The launch command is: ./supervisor-bin &
