| Abstract :
| The resolution of civilian satellite images is currently around 60 cm and it probably will increase in the future. The large size of these images compels us to optimize the computation speed. Moreover, similar objects observed at high and low resolution have different characteristics; thus, we need a multi-scale approach in terms of modelling as well as in terms of algorithms. The results of this multi-scale approach will be tested on the problems of extraction of road networks and trees from aerial and satellite images provided by the CNES and IGN. |
