The "International Conference in Graph Theory" is a well known colloquium in the domain. Since 1976, it has been organized each 4 or 5 years. The most recent one held in Marseille Luminy in September 2000 attracted more than 200 researchers from more than 30 countries.

The main objectives of this conference are the following :

  • present the developments, success and applications in graph theory that occurred during the last five years in a synthetic way;
  • discuss the recent and future research trends in graph theory;
  • provide to young researchers the opportunity to get a deeper knowledge and to discover new research topics in the domain of graph theory as well as in its applications;
  • give opportunity to young researchers to present their work and get feedback for more experienced ones;
  • share ideas and problems in all the aspects of graph theory and to bring together the protagonists (young researchers, experienced researchers, internationally renowned researchers).
