Current status of Prosit
The Prosit framework is currently available for sequential
and distributed simulations. The environment includes:
- A sequential and a distributed library version of the framework.
For the moment, only conservative synchronization is supported.
The Chandy-Misra/Bryant protocol is implemented and both
On-demand and Automatic null messages are available.
- Queuing network and Petri Net modeling libraries are available.
- A general purpose statistical module (code named
Stat-Tool )
has been developped and interfaced to Prosit.
- A general purpose tracing library has been developped and
interfaced to Prosit.
- There are various graphical interfaces allowing to build
QN or
PN models and to automatically
generate the associated C++ code,
to animate (in real time or
post-mortem) a simulation, to monitor a
distributed simulation, etc.
The Prosit environment is available on the following architectures:
SunOS4 and SunOS 5 (i.e. Solaris), Linux, Windows'95 and NT, Alpha
digital UNIX.
The framework is coded in C++ and uses the Gnu C++ compiler.
