Re: ipsat BoF request
Scott,
the ipsat BoF would focus on issues specific to support IP on
satellite link level protocols. This issue was deliberatly kept
out of udlr scope which was focused on dynamic routing in the case of a
unidirectional
link. Udlr will continue until we finalize the informational rfc document
(draft sent on the list few weeks ago, please send comments). We had an
agreement last meeting
not to ask for a slot in chicago and to focus on the document editing and
reviewing.
However, it is very important that we meet in Orlando in December to adopt
final version of the rfc.
As for ipsat, the request for this BoF came from several participants to the
udlr group interested in the practical issue of implementing IP over DVB
that would like to see a standard way of doing so.
