Installing Eclipse
Download and unzip Eclipse 3.4 MT from the Eclipse web site or directly on this link:
eclipse-modeling-ganymede-SR2
Important Note:
VCE has been tested in Eclipse 3.3.1 (Europa) 32-bits and Eclipse 3.4.0 (Ganymede) 32 and 64-bits.
It is known _NOT_ to work properly with Eclipse 3.5 ()
VCE requires Sun JVM 1.6 or greater
Installing the required plugins
Vercors editor actually depends on the topcased framework (version1.0)
and EMF framework, so you need to get them.
Installing Vercors Component Environment (VCE)
Download the archives found in the prefered release and put them on the Eclipse Plugins Directory (e.g. eclipse/plugins)
Quick Start
- Create a new Project
- Right click on the Package Explorer > New > Other
- Select General > Project
- Put a name to your new project and click Finish
- Create a new Components Diagram
- Right click on your created Project > New > Other
- Select Vercors Component Environment > Components Diagram
- Put a name to your new diagram, select the ComponentsDiagram template and click Finish
