Re: [moca] Locations?
But it has also been used as "unit of migration" (Dist Join).
In the DJoin it is also a "unit of synchronization", preventing
rendez-vous spanning several locations.
I havn't thought about this deeply, but it seems that the ambient
calculus combines the two: an ambient is at the same time a unit
of migration and a unit of synchronisation. this dual function
seems to give the AC enourmous expressive power, yet one wonders
if it would not be better to separate the two, at least for
conceptual analysis. of course separating the two is delicate.
as an aside: what is the unit of synchronisation in pi-calculi?
names? scopes of names?
