I am a mathematician specialised in Dynamical Systems, in particular, bifurcation theory questions related to multiple timescales (especially canard theory) and heteroclinic dynamics. Over the past 15 years or so, my research has been focused on applications of these mathematical concepts to neuroscience. I am interested in studying complex brain rhythms, e.g. bursting, mixed-mode oscillations, gamma rhythm in E-I networks. I also work on questions related to synaptic plasticity and memory. Since 2012, I have been holding an Advanced Research Position at Inria in the Sophia Antipolis-Méditerranée Centre (France). I am working in the MathNeuro research team.
