Short Bio

I was born on May 22nd 1986 in Terracina (Italy), where I completed secondary school (Liceo Scientifico) in 2005 with full marks.

Then I went to study at Campus Bio-Medico University in Rome. Here, I received both bachelor's degree and master's degree (Summa cum Laude and Honorable Mention) in Biomedical Engineering in 2008 and 2010 respectively. During my B.S. thesis I worked on video-based tool for clinical gait analysis while my M.S. thesis dealt with stochastic modeling end parameter estimation from gene expression time-courses.

In December 2010 I started my PhD in applied mathematics to biological systems at Inria Sophia Antipolis (France) in the project-team BIOCORE. My supervisors are Jean-Luc Gouzé and Madalena Chaves. In summer 2011 I attended a three week course in Computational Cell Biology at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory (New York, USA).
