Hi All,
       After posing the question about printing out results the 
other day I looked more closely at the code in the Centaur tutorial
in the system documentation and realised that I hadn't implemented
the view spy correctly. I was relying on the view spy produced
by
      ty-create-std-network 

when I called it with a result-name argument. When I suppressed
this argument and created a result view spy according to the
instructions in the environment section of the centaur tutorial 
a result window with a file menu appeared (which is what I needed).
