Judith did not said that she killed the external parser's server manually 
when leaving Centaur. This explains the message "connect:Connection refused".

FYI (for your information), a list of servers is maintained in the file
~/.services. If you want to parse a L program, Centaur will search for
the last occurence of the server L in this files, assuming that it is still
alive (the same procedure is used to retrieve the centaur process when you use
"editor-start" to edit a subtree with emacs). If the search gives a bad
process number, the message Connection refused is emitted. The ~/.services
table may be cleaned up using the "services" command (at shell level).
