error message

Hi,
when I do TYPE-CHECK, COMPILE and WRITE CODE in TYPOL, I always get the following
error message:
***** Erreur fatale : zone des listes pleine.
even though I have a lot free memory. This happened after I added two more rules
to my  *.ty file.  Waht does the message really mean?  What should I do when it
happens?   
By the way, can I do something to let Centaur display error message in English
instead of Frech?
