Modifying the environment

Hello,

I soon will start to build an own environment for a specification
language I have implemented with CENTAUR. Of course I will not start
from scratch but reuse a maximum of features from existing
environments (such as Metal, Ppml, Menumode etc.). Because I did not
yet investigate a lot of effort to examine the corresponding sources,
here are some questions that you could probably answer in fewer time
than I would need to read the core manual or to examine the sources.

1.) In the "File" menu in a Centaur edit window I'd like to add a
selection "Same File" to get rid of the anoying text window
forcing me to re-type entirely the name of the file I want to
re-read after some changes that I made on the original file
(please dont tell me to use the "Edit" selection of the "Edit"
menu -- I hate it ... ). How could I easily do this?

2.) I don't like the "Edit" window because its editing capabilities
are much to restricted. Why not use a good existing exterior
editor instead (Emacs, Epoch or emacsclient e.g.), as it can be
done with many News and Mail handlers. So can you imagine an easy
way how to call an exterior editor via a menu?

3.) What is the function that does the pretty printing of abstract
syntax trees just as plain ascii text.

			Thanks in advance
