Carolina Medina got her first degree at the Computer Science Faculty at the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP) in México. In 1997, She got a master degree in Computer Science at ISEI in the Colegio de Postgraduados in México. From January 1997 to August 1999, she was a research associate professor at the Computer Science Faculty at the BUAP. In September 1999, She got a grant from the Mexican Ministry of Science and Technology (CONACyT) and moved to France to join the ACACIA team at INRIA Sophia Antipolis where she is working toward a PhD. on Computer Science. Her research work on Semantic information retrieval inside a genetic digital corporate memory is being supervised by Dr. Rose Dieng-Kuntz. The main research interests of Carolina Medina are Knowledge management, Semantic Information retrieval and virtual documents creation. |
