More on my PhD work!!.

Personal Information
Research Interests
I am interested in ways of extracting objects from images, and particularly in the modelization of shape. I am working with quadratic active contours that allow the definition of interactions between different contour points and introduce in the model complex and more specific prior terms. This new kind of model is tested for the extraction of line networks (rivers, roads, ...) in aerial and satellite images.
Bio
After 2 years spent in "classes préparatoires" (MP) at 'Lycée Pierre de Fermat' (Toulouse), I joined the 'Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications de Bretagne' in September 1998.
I chose to follow the specialization in Multimedia Communications in Eurécom Institute of Sophia Antipolis, a dynamic engineering school where courses are in English and created in 1991 by Télécom Paris (École Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications) and EPFL (École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne).
I went to the United States for my training, and more particularly to AT&T Labs  (New Jersey), where I spent more than 7 months inMazin Rahim's team. I worked on Automatic Language Understanding.
I graduated in September 2001 from ENST Bretagne.
I followed the Master   DEA SIC - Image Vision of the University of Nice-Sophia Antipolis. I worked with the Ariana team of INRIA sophia Antipolis, with Ian Jermyn and Josiane Zerubia. I started a PhD in the team in October 2002.
For more details, see my Curriculum vitae.
When I am not working, I like dancing (rock'n'roll and contemporary), drawing, reading and cooking. I also spend time rock climbing and taking pictures.
