He will coordinate the activities at all sites. INRIA will be the
central node in the inter-project communications:
The PCC will meet at least twice a year at every general meeting.
If a PCC member can not attend a meeting, he may designate a
replacement. Others may be invited to attend meetings, if all
present agree.
Scientific management will rotate between the two EC members
in the project. The expected schedule is
shown below.
At the end of each year, there is a meeting of
all participants, a workshop, and a review.
The scientific manager is
responsible for the technical content of the deliverables due at
the end of year milestone. He will monitor the progress at all
sites throughout the year. He will also be responsible for the
scientific content of the end-of-year workshop, and will have
invited outside speakers as deemed necessary. He will assist in
the annual review and then hand over to his successor:
The researchers working on this project will meet fairly regularly (by video conferences and meetings when necessary). In addition, there are two general meetings every year: the informal mid-year meeting, and the end-of-the-year workshop. At these meetings, visits can be planned for the following half year and reports will be given about the visits in the past half year. The first mid-year meeting will be held at UCL in London. The second mid-year meeting will be held at SICS in Sweden. The first end-of-the-year workshop will be held at INRIA in Sophia-Antipolis. The second end-of-the-year workshop will be held at UTS in Sydney.
