Industrial Collaborations

  • INRIA-Alcatel-Lucent Bell Labs: MAESTRO participates in three Research Actions (ADR)
    • Network Science (P. Nain, P. Jacquet);
    • Semantic Networking (I. Guérin Lassous, L. Noirie);
    • Self-optimizing Wireless Networks (B. Gaujal, L. Thomas).

Former Industrial Collaborations

  • Grant (CRE) with Orange Labs. on the "Performance Evaluation of Content-Centric Networks" (2010-2012).
  • ANR ECOSCELLS (2009-2012)
  • MAESTRO is partner of the ANR VERSO ECOSCELLS project (Efficient COoperating Small Cells). Our partners are: Alcatel-Lucent Bell Labs (leader), INRIA project-teams MASCOTTE and SWING, LIA (University of Avignon and Pays du Vaucluse), Sequans, Orange Labs, 3ROAM, Siradel, CNRS LAAS, Eurecom, Laboratoire des Signaux et Systèmes (Supelec). The ECOSCells (Efficient Cooperating Small Cells) project aims at developing the algorithms and solutions required to allow Small Cells Network (SCN) deployment.

  • ANR WINEM (2007-2010)
  • MAESTRO is partner of the ANR Telecom WINEM project. Our partners are: France Telecom R&D, GET (ENST Bretagne and INT), project-team ARMOR (INRIA), Institut Eurécom, LIA (University of Avignon), and Motorola which is coordinating the project. MAESTRO's task is to analyze the performance of the IEEE 802.16e protocol.

  • France Télécom R&D
    • In cooperation with France Télécom R&D MAESTRO develops new notions of capacity adapted to UMTS and works on rate control problems combined with power control (2003-2004, 2005-2006).
    • MAESTRO collaborates with France Télécom R&D Sophia Antipolis on the theme "Internet Traffic Management and Modeling" (2005-2006).
  • VTHD++ (1999-2004)
  • MAESTRO is partner of the VTHD (Very High Broadband IP/WDM test platform for new generation Internet applications) project that aims to deploy a broadband IP test platform to develop the technological bricks that will be required to deploy second generation Internet and Intranet networks.

    VTHD is partially funded by the Direction Générale de l'Industrie, the Technologies de l'Information et des Postes (DiGITIP), and the Ministry for the Economy, Finance and Industry.
