Year completed: Development commenced May 1994 and still ongoing. This feature list represents version 2.1. 4. Price: Registered Freeware 5 Available from: Has not been released for public use, but will be. 6. Thumbnail description: An integrated Windows GUI and mouse application capable of managing/editing/entering raw survey data in an intuitive manner. Reduces many sets of data to produce statistics, reports and traverse maps and projections. Maps may be previewed on the screen before printing. 3D Perspective views of the map on the screen with real-time user controlled rotation. 7. System requirements & capabilities, including peripherals: Any IBM compatible PC capable of running Windows 3.1. Recommend minimum 386DX-25, 2Mb RAM, VGA 640x480, mouse, hard disk (1Mb + data) 8. Can use math coprocessor: Yes 9. Printer/plotter drivers available: Any printer supported by Windows 3.1, must be graphics-capable for maps. Haven't tried any plotters yet. 10. Advantages of program: Windows standard GUI interface using mouse, Windows printer and screen device support, map previewing, 3D perspective viewing. 11. Possible disadvantages of program: Fairly high hardware/software requirements means not all PCs can successfully run it. Data Management-- 12. Data management style (one file, hierarchical, etc.): Multi or single file (users choice). ASCII text 'Windows Profile .INI' format, but is transparent to user. 13. Data entry screen can be customized: Each survey data format has its own special entry screen. Cant be used customised at present but could be done very easily, ie. drag-and-drop entry field objects into whatever entry order is required. 14. Station name auto prefixing/suffixing: Optional prefixing 15. Input/output units: Input: Keyboard (raw data entry), Mouse (everything), Windows Clipboard, (may add DDE and OLE, eg. from Excel spreadsheet) Output: Screen, Printer (incl.
