Abstract:
This paper presents a combination of mesh adaptation and shape design
optimization. The optimization loop is based on an Euler model and an
adjoint-based gradient descent algorithm. Mesh adaptation provides
here, a control of accuracy of the numerical solution by modifying the
domain discretization according to size and stretching directions.
