Published in
Collaborative innovation is one of the core activities of Living Labs. Interest to this topic has been increasing recently among the researchers. Lahti Living Lab in Finland focuses on the front end of innovation process especially in the contexts of service development and public sector innovativeness but does not emphasize ICT development. Mostly qualitative methods are used in various development cases ranging from suburban development to health care. Based on the experiences from these projects Living Labs should improve their mechanisms of transforming emerging ideas from the front end of the innovation process to development more effectively.
