I joined the Ariana (CNRS/INRIA/UNSA) group in October 2000 as a researcher with the MOUMIR (MOdels for Unified Multimedia Information Retrieval) network. MOUMIR is a 5th Framework EU project consisting of eight European partners. The main focus of my research will be on segmentation methods for textured and non-textured images and will involve collaboration with the network groups at Cambridge University and Trinity College Dublin.
