Volume rendering is a common technique used to visualize a scalar
field given on a 3-D volumic mesh. The principle used here is to
consider the volume as
transparent with each internal point emitting light proportionally
to the magnitude of the scalar. The principle is to visualize
simultaneously all the volume values known on the mesh nodes.
