fyi:
to some extent this issue is being discussed between the MPEG cttee
and the AVT WG (right, colin?) - the area of multiplexing (and
demuxing and associated I-Ds/addresses ) that differ between
for example DMIF and RTP Is a topic there.....
imho:
UDLR is more concerned with the routing problems associated with links
with assymetry in forward and reverse paths........though you're
clearly right that there's a strong overlap at least in
applicability.......
