Thoughts and comments
Hi,
I am new to this group (and topic) but have a couple of observations
associated with the recent draft RFC 'A link Layer Tunneling MEchanism
for Uni-directional Link'
1) Why does the standard consider the problem of receiver to receiver
communications?
My comment is that if both are connected to the Internet then, by
default, communications will be routed between them. This is true even
if the only router between the two receivers were via one or more
unidirectional services. This communications path (or route) would be
derived by the higher level routing protocols.
Am I missing something here?
Regards
