A New Internet-Draft is available from the on-line Internet-Drafts directories.
This draft is a work item of the UniDirectional Link Routing Working Group of the IETF.

Title : An IP tunneling approach for
                          Uni-directional Link routing

Since digital multichannel TV broadcasting services have been
started in many areas, low cost digital data receivers are
available. They can be used for not only TV broadcasting service but
also any kind of data communication services.

A low cost receiver can receive high bandwidth traffic from a feed,
while no bandwidth from the receiver to the feed is provided.
Therefore the connection between the feed and the receiver is
unidirectional. Current routing protocols stand on a fact that any
links are bidirectional even if the bandwidth in each direction may
be different. They can not handle unidirectional links.

This document defines an idea to use unidirectional links (UDLs)
routing without any modifications of current routing protocols.

Send a message to:	mailserv@ds.internic.net. In the body type:
	"FILE /internet-drafts/draft-ietf-udlr-wide-tunnel-00.txt".

NOTE:	The mail server at ds.internic.net can return the document in
MIME-encoded form by using the "mpack" utility. To use this
feature, insert the command "ENCODING mime" before the "FILE"
command. To decode the response(s), you will need "munpack" or
a MIME-compliant mail reader. Different MIME-compliant mail readers
exhibit different behavior, especially when dealing with
"multipart" MIME messages (i.e. documents which have been split
up into multiple messages), so check your local documentation on
	how to manipulate these messages.

Below is the data which will enable a MIME compliant mail reader
implementation to automatically retrieve the ASCII version of the
Internet-Draft.
