I meant to add:

When you wish to refer to a node attached to a non-trans link according
to the capability of its interface, you would use the terms:

    send-only node
    rcv-only node
    two-way node

But note that those characterizations of a node are always *with respect
to* a particular link.  A node may be attached to more than one non-trans
link, and have different capabilities on those links.
