Current work

I am working in the High-Speed Networking (aka. RODEO) group at INRIA . I am currently making additional improvements to the audio conferencing tool Free Phone I developed as part of my thesis work.

Over the last 3 years, I have worked on how to obtain good audio quality while sending audio packets over networks such as the Internet that offer a single class best effort service. To achieve this goal, I have developed and implemented new control mechanisms to compensate the negative impact of network delay, jitter, and loss. I have also examined the benefit we might expect when using non-FIFO scheduling disciplines, in particular Fair Queueing-like disciplines, in the Internet.
