Since March 99 : CS Telecom / INRIA Sophia Antipolis
· Definition of an IP architecture supporting QoS based on IntServ/RSVP and DiffServ. This new architecture is under implementation and will be integrated in different CS Telecom products.
· Head of the INTRADIFF RNRT project : implementing DiffServ in an Intranet. Partners : Cegetel, Thomson-CSF-Detexis, INRIA.
· Supervisor of three PHD students at INRIA-Sophia (Rodeo/Planete Project). They are involved in: QoS (scheduling : CBQ, WFQ, DRR, ? ; active queue management : RED, TD, PBS), Protocols and new architecture for QoS (RSVP, COPS, MPLS), Fast-forwarding and classification in IP routers.
Sept 94 - Feb 99 : PRISM Laboratory - Versailles University
· Definition of a new mechanism for MPEG video transmission over ATM networks.
· Definition of a new version of the protocol FRP developed by CNET-lannion and a new version of the contract ABT allowing an elastic resource reservation.
· Definition of a rate control mechanism for a MPEG encoder that adapts the compression ratio to the available bandwidth in the network.
· Keeping track of ATM-Forum contributions, ITU recommendations and research publications.
· Teaching activities.
