Miguel Ángel Ruiz Sánchez

Hello and welcome to my web page

Since October 1999 I am pursuing my PhD in the PLANETE  research team at  INRIA Sophia Antipolis.  My thesis advisor is Walid Dabbous .

Research Interests

Routers are key components in the Internet. The primary role of routers is to forward packets towards their final destination. My research involves developing mechanisms to improve packet forwarding performance in routers. More specificaly, I am interested in address lookup, buffer management and scheduling mechanisms.

The important thing in science is not so much to
obtain new facts as to  discover new ways of
                                                                                        thinking about them.
