I am currently working as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow within "PULSAR" team on "BIOSERRE" project which
aims at developing novel computer vision techniques and software to be used in pesticide-free cultures grown inside greenhouses
motivated by the growing interest for ecologocial solutions in agriculture and related fields (eg. biology, environment, etc...).
I obtained in 2003 an Engineering diploma in Operations Research from Universite Bejaia
(Kabylie Province, Algeria). Then, I graduated from Ecole Normale Superieure de Cachan (Paris) in 2004 in Mathematics
Vision Learning (Master MVA), and I defended my Ph.D dissertation in Applied Mathematics (Specialty Biological Image Processing)
in December 2007 which I did in collaboration between Universite Rene Descartes (Paris 5), INRA Jouy en Josas,
Institut Curie Paris, and INRIA/IRISA Rennes. I have had my first one-year postdoctoral experience in cardiovascular magnetic
resonance imaging (MRI) at OCMR/FMRIB - Oxford University (U.K.).
My research interests include Image Processing and Computer Vision, Real-Time Video Surveillance, Learning theory,
Statistical Pattern Recognition, Inverse Problems, and their applications for solving practical problems.
