The goal of this workshop is to introduce the foundations of ongoing software developments in Geometric Computing. It is intended to provide both a comprehensive overview of basic concepts in the field and of their most advanced implementations. It will also discuss some application areas where progress in Geometric Computing will have a strong impact.
There will be talks by renown experts, demonstrations of softwares and time for discussions.
The workshop is co-organized by Jean-Daniel Boissonnat (INRIA), Mark Overmars (Utrecht University) and Franco Preparata (Brown University). It is partially supported by the European CGAL Project and the Center for Geometric Computing.
