Céline HUDELOT
Welcome on my home page!
I am , since november 2001, a PHD student in the ORION team. It is a multi-disciplinarity team at the frontier of computer vision, knowledge-based systems, and software engineering.
My PHD Research
The aim of this work is the early diagnosis of Plant diseases, in particular of Rose diseases, by automatic image interpretation.
The main issue is the automatic recognition of various types of Plant diseases with macroscopic and microscopic images. These diseases can be fungus which appears like filamentous networks or insects with various shapes and states.
The main difficulties are:
- The disease segmentation : the background is very complex
- The disease classification
Key words:
Cognitive Vision, Knowledge Representation, Classification Reasoning, Program Supervision
I collaborate with another French Research Institute:URIH, a resarch unit of INRA (Institut National de la Recherche Agronomique). It is also located in Sophia Antipolis.
