Software

OpenMEEG

Software Description:

The OpenMEEG software is developped within the Odyssee project-team at INRIA Sophia-Antipolis and at ENPC. It provides a tool suite to solve the forward and inverse problems for MEG and EEG data.

For the forward problem, the symmetric Boundary Element Method (symmetric BEM) is used [Kybic et al., 2005]. This method enables an excellent accuracy notably for superfical cortical sources. Concerning the inverse problem, we focus on a distributed source model with three different types of regularization : the Minimum Norm (MN), the L2 (HEAT) and L1 (TV) norms of the surface gradient of the sources.
