General information

Mario Leyton received a PhD degree from Universite de Nice-Sophia Antipolis in 2008; and a Computer Science Engineer degree, with maximum distinction, from University of Chile in 2005.

His PhD studies were performed at INRIA Sophia Antipolis, where he was a member of the OASIS Team. His scholarship was co-financed by INRIA and CONICYT Chile.

His main research interest are in parallel/distributed computing. In particular, the field of structured parallel programming models.

During his thesis at INRIA he developed Calcium, a skeleton framework which is now part of the ProActive Parallel Suite.
