ABOUT MYSELF

I have completed my PhD Thesis in February 2011 from INRIA/University of Nice, Sophia Antipolis, where I had been a student since October 2007. I have been working in Planθte group at INRIA, Sophia Antipolis under the supervision of Thierry TURLETTI (INRIA) and Katia OBRACZKA (University of California at Santa Cruz, USA). At present, I am also a member of the Community Research Project which is a joint collaboration between Planθte team at INRIA, Sophia Antipolis and University of California at Santa Cruz. Currently, we are working on communications mechanisms for message delivery in heterogeneous networks. We have developed a framework for message delivery for heterogeneous networks involving intermittently connected networks which we named as MeDeHa. A brief overview of MeDeHa and its implementation codes can be found here.

I have done my MS in Networks and Distributed Systems from University of Nice, Sophia Antipolis in July 2007. Before my Masters, I have got my Bachelors of Engineering (BE) degree in Computer Systems from College of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering (EME), National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Rawalpindi Pakistan, followed by a 4-year professional experience at Communication Enabling Technologies, Pakistan, and Center for Advanced Research in Engineering (CARE), Islamabad, Pakistan from 2002 to 2006.

You may find my Resume here.
