Isabelle Mirbel is associate professor in computer science at Université Côte d’Azur within the I3S research laboratory. Her research interests are in the fields of information systems engineering, method engineering and requirements engineering.
From 2012 to 2018, she was vice-dean of the Faculty of Sciences.
From 2016 to 2019, she was coordinating the implementation of competency-based education within the Faculty of Sciences and the different faculties of Université Côte d’Azur.
From 2017 to 2019, she was also in charge of the “Sciences à la Carte” project, in conjunction with the Thematic Digital Universities (TDUs) UNISCIEL (National Basic Sciences University), which aims to develop online digital resources and more specifically self-positioning tests to facilitate the orientation of undergraduate students.
She is currently at the head of the L@UCA undergraduate education innovation program (NCU PIA3). She is more specifically involved in teaching and learning change dynamic as well as competency based curriculum development.
