I received the PhD degree in theoretical
physics from the University of Manchester, U.K., in 1991. After
working for a total of three years at the International
Centre for Theoretical Physics in Trieste, Italy, I studied for a PhD
in computer science at the Courant
Institute of Mathematical Sciences of New York University, receiving
the PhD degree in July 2000. My advisor was Davi
Geiger. In August 2000 I became a member of the Ariana
research group at INRIA Sophia Antipolis,
working as a research assistant on the MOUMIR
project. In September 2001, I became a permanent member of the Ariana
group.
