- December 10th : Duc-Phu Chau (Stars) : Introduction to GoalControl: Goal-line technology for FIFA Worldcup 2014
Worldcup 2014 is the first World Cup in which FIFA decides to
use a goal-line technology (GLT) to support the referee's decisions.
GoalControl, product of a German company, has been selected as the
official GLT provider for this most important football tournament. In
this talk, I will introduce how the GoalControl framework is installed
to detect a ball crossing the goal line with an accuracy of 100%.
