Modelling and control for ecologically friendly crop protection methods . Deployment strategies of resistant plants, evolution of resistance breaking pathogens. EPIdemiological modelling and control for Tropical AGriculture (EPITAG). Semi-discrete/impulsive systems.    Dynamic games for the computation of uninvadable strategies

 

Functions and projects

I am currently the head of the MACBES Project-Team (Modelling And Control of Biological and Ecological Systems) at INRIA d'Université Côte d'Azur. The team is a common project team with INRAE, CNRS and Université Côte d'Azur through the Institut Sophia Agrobiotech and the Institut de Pharmacologie Molleculaire et Cellulaire. Université Côte d'Azur: I am the co-head of the MSc Environmental Hazards and Risks Management in which I am teacing the "Elements of mathematical modelling" class. I am a member of the steering commitee of Academy 3 "Espace, Environnement, Risques et Résilience" and of the scientific committee of the Center of Modeling, Simulation and Interactions (MSI) I am currently responsible of the modelling workpackage of the Endurance project (ENhanced DURability AgaiNst Crop Enemies", ANR AAPG 2024-2027), and am working on several research projects: SuzuKIISS:ME “Gérer Drosophila SuzuKII grâce aux Insectes Super Stériles : Maturation et Efficacité” (ANR Ecophyto maturation 2022-2025);  BEEP “Behavioural Epidemiology and Evolution of Plant Pathogens” (ANR AAPG 2024-2028); MISTIC “Computational models of crop plant microbial biodiversity” (PEPR Agroécologie et Numérique  2023-...) I am co-supervising 5 PhD students: Joseph Penlap, Pauline Mazel, Aurelien Kambeu Youmbi, Frank Kemayou Mangwa and Marine Courtois.
