  • I am Full Professor at the University of Nice Sophia-Antipolis, teaching at Polytech'Nice, where I'm responsible of Nice implementation of the AVOSTII-STI2D program and of the Cordées de la Science à Sophia. Previously, I belonged to the computer science departement of the Sciences Faculty, department that I co-leaded from September 2008 during two years.
    I have been delegated at INRIA, September 2004-2006

    Since March 2016, I'm member of the Academic Council of UNS, elected member of the Research Commission.



    I represent UNS in the KIC Digital (formerly ICT Labs) of the EIT since 2011 and in particular for the Master school.
    I'm coordinating the UNS involvement in the just lauched new master about Data Science started automn 2015. Find more information about the Master 1, and about the Master 2 specialization on Multimedia and Web Science for Big Data.

    Since September 2016, I'm responsible for the Polytech Nice-Sophia' 5th year Engineering speciality called IMAFA (Informatique et Mathématiques Appliquées à la Finance et aux Assurances) as a follow-up of my colleague Anne-Marie Hugues.

    My scientific activities are awarded by the Prime d'Encadrement Doctoral et de Recherche (PEDR), now named Prime d'Excellence Scientifique (PES), without any break since 2001, recently renewed until 2017.

    My main research interests are around Programming Models and Middleware for parallel or distributed computing

    As member of the Scale (and previously OASIS) team, I work around active objects technology as ProActive, part of  the ObjectWeb - OW2 consortium.
